Eye Exam and MRI

by Topher7, Jun 15, 2007 12:00AM
As I explained in another question, I've been having tension like headaches off and on for the past week. I actually got some in March but they went away. I can be a hypo about things but the doctor did a neuro and it was fine. I've had two docs do neuros also and they see nothing wrong. Anyways, I saw my eye doc today for a regular check-up and because I was nervouse due to some eye problems I was having with the stress and tension. He basically said since my job included 9 hours of computer work a day, that my eyes were dried out and stressed. Upon examination he said my optic nerve and everything else was fine...besides my normal prescription. I'm having an MRI later oday just to make sure. The eye doc said he would see problems developing or pressure problems if something was wrong. Is this true for the most part concerning tumors, etc.?

Yes, it is true.  It sounds like you have found a doctor who truly wants to reassure you of what is going on.  That's great!  Quix

Thanks Quix. I see you helping alot of people and I think that is wonderful!I had my MRI this afternoon anyways. I know they can't say anything but the tech basically was joking around about it so I belive that is good news too. Didn't really like doing an MRI though...like torture..lol
