Eye Lid Muscle Weakness

I am having a problem with tired eye lids.  By afternoon I can hardly keep my eyes open.  My eyes are super sensitive to sunlight plus light at night.  Movement also affects my eyes.  Do you think there might be a connection with tight neck muscles.  It seems like if I press on the lower neck muscles my eyes lids open.  I do have dry eyes, but I  soak my eyes with hot water and soap and also add eye drops every hour.  This problem has really effected my life and I am very discouraged.   I am very active physically but my social life has been eliminated.  Also any stimulants effect my eye lids.  I can't have any caffeine or alcohol.  I need to find some docotr or clinic that can help my problem.  Any suggestions.

I think you might have "myasthenia gravis". It's basically muscle weakness and it normally starts with eyelids. I also have the same problem and was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis few years ago. You need to go see a neurologist.
One easy test for this is called cold test. Next time when the problem occurs, try put ice on your eyelids for 2 minutes and you should feel better if you have myasthenia gravis.
