Eyelid droop/Double vision/buzzing in legs

Eyelid droop/Double vision/buzzing in legs

I'm in my mid-50s, diagnosed with Primary Sjogren's and Hashimoto's for 4 years. On Levothyroxine 125mcgs daily. Still had many symptoms, e.g. muscle fatigue/double vision/neurogenic bladder/severe constipation/exhaustion/total lack of appetite/myxoedema/drooping eyelids - on waking in the middle of the night and in the evening/buzzing like electricity through my legs and my back/numb right heel/numb toes on both feet (at different times.) Had MG tests which were negative. A few weeks ago my doc diagnosed me with subclinical Addison's and I'm waiting to see an Endo. At the moment I'm taking 15mg Hydrocortisone daily, which has done wonders for the muscle fatigue.  But I still have lingering symptoms, bladder, double vision (only in one eye today) and the buzzing is still bothering me.  The doc did hint at possible MS last year but nothing more was said. My Optometrist said there is no problem with my eyes and sent me back to the doc. Any advice would be gratefully received.

I wanted to add that I was a "possible MS" diagnosee. Like you, I had every test in the book and saw all kinds of eye specialists and neurologists. I even had brain spots on my MRI. As it turned out, I had a bad case of neurological Lyme disease and I can certainly identify with the legs buzzing. Your eyelid droop could be Bell's Palsey which is a hallmark symptom of neurological Lyme. Doctors don't know a whole about it which explains why I went through a parade of 14 of them in a two-year period. I found the LymeNet site and located a Lyme specialist. Almost three later, I'm still on antibiotics. Once that bacteria enters the central nervous system, all sorts of bizarre and painful things happen.  Here's a symptoms list for you, in case you want to keep it in the back of your mind. Oh, and you don't have to recall a bite of have gotten the rash to have it AND you can have it and still have a negaive test result. Sign me "Been There, Done That!"   Carol (***@****)

I have many of the symptoms on this list and never really thought of Lime. Thought of many other things. Don't believe I have ever been testes for Lime but this information is very in lighting, I thank you for this. Stopped going to Dr. becouse they kept telling me this is all in my mind. Real Symptoms have been going on for about 5 years or longer. You know your own body and Im no spring chicken so I think I know me well. Thank you so much. S Walker.
