Eyes Twitching

Ok folks..I've been having bouts of dizziness and vision issues for 8 weeks.   My jaw is also very sore, so it could be TMJ related.

One thing I have noticed is when I close my eyes, both eyes / eyelids start to twitch, including the area next to my eyes. (temple area)

Is this all related to jaw / TMJ or other.  Again...my jaw muscles are very sore...so perhaps it is a cause.

This symptom may occur due to TMJ problem but without being able to examine you I can not offer you the specific advice on diagnosis. The possibility of TMJ disorder can arise due to excessive teeth grinding habits, dental problems, misalignment of the teeth and trauma to the jaws, patient may experience headache, facial pain, ear pain, dizziness and nausea. However, in TMJ disorder, MRI is a useful investigation tool to diagnose the condition and your normal MRI report suggests it is a less likely cause in your case. I would recommend you to see a neurologist who can evaluate the details of your case and could better determine the insight of your situation. Additionally, possibilities of trigeminal neuralgia could also be evaluated. Hope this helps. Take Care & Regards.
