Eyes heaviness

Hi
I am a computer professional and having issues of heaviness of eyes , my eyes are gettnig heavy like anything and for me its diffcult to make a balance even.
i got it check to opthalomologist and he said that nothing is wrong in vision...just a stress.but I am not getting any solution.
is it due to some issues in cerebellum ? as I read somewhere that if due to sitting posture blood is not supplied properly to cerebellum that may cause this.
my BP and sugar are normal

The eye, as with most of the body organs, can become fatigued with overuse.  It is possible that this overuse can cause the symptoms you are experiencing.

How long are you usually in front of your computer screen?  It is commonly advised to rest your eyes (as well as do a little body stretching) after every 2-3 hours of continuous computer usage.  You could try to do this first and see if it helps.

Do you also experience other symptoms of fatigue in other parts of the body that progresses as the day goes on? Any dizziness, shortness of breath, etc.? If so, you might also want to consider having your symptoms checked by a physician.

Hi betu,
Being a Computer professional and constantly sitting in front of Computer causes tiredness of eyes which further causes heaviness of eyes.Do you use any contact lenses?.Do you heaviness of eyes  which worses as the day progresses?.It is good if you consult a neurologist and get yourself evaluated further.Lesion in Cerebellum would have other symptoms including loss of Balance, unable to work in repetetive fashion, unable to walk straight etc.
