Finally got referred to a neurologist.
He sent me for an MRA and MRI - the MRI showed the neuroma - they assumed it was Acoustic as that is the most common
Went to an ENT specialist, he said based on presentation and order of symptoms, and that my hearing is still fine, it is not an acoustic neuroma, he has to be a facial nerve neuroma and to pinpoint it, he is sending me for a closer look at the area with a CT scan on 9/11/09
size right now is 1cm by .86cm
He said I will lose the feeling in my face permanently and eventually lose my hearing - depending on growth rate - within 2 - 7 years
If I do the surgery it will immediately take away the hearing and 99% sure to lose the feeling on the right side of my face
