Facial Nerve Neuroma

by helen222, Mar 25, 2008 04:37PM
Hi, I'm a 27 year old female who has had surgery 4 months ago to remove a facial nerve neuroma. My left side of my face is paralyzed but had a sensory nerve graft at the time of surgery to help bring back my facial nerves. I know what I have is very rare but wondered if anyone has had a facial nerve graft and how successful it has been.

Just found you MedHelp question.  I hope being 1 1/2 yrs later all is okay.  Please let me know your condition.  I too, have a facial nerve neuroma.  I am not having surgery as of yet (not experiencing many side affects) but would like to hear from someone who has gone through it.  I am a 38 yr old female.

Again.....hope you have recovered wonderfully!!!!!!
