I am a 43 year old female, I have had 3 MRIs 2 CAT scans and my doctor says everything is normal. For two months I have had facial numbness and tingling in the right side of my face (like I went to the dentist and the novicaine is just wearing off). The is a burining sensation in my right ar. Both happen together and are off and on or I simply get to busy to notice. My arm is very bothersome because at times I have difficulty moving it. It feels heavy. In November the numbness started in face and made 1/2 my tongue go numb as well. My MRI/MRAs have come back with a 5 mm (white Matter)? and statements like this has something to do with small vessel ischemic disease, demyelinating lesion, or early sign of MS. What should my next step be - believe my PCP and neruologist that I am "normal"?
