Fasciculations in both legs after surgery for L5-S1 hernia

Fasciculations in both legs after surgery for L5-S1 hernia

I am a 35 years old woman who, after 9 months of sciaitic pain and progressive loss of skin sensitivity, had to do surgery for a hernia (L5-S1, right side). This operation occurred about 5 months ago, and from the first day I could start walking, I realized I had pain in both legs and fasciculations of both calves, which did not disappear in time and are rendering my recovery very slow.
I was wondering whether this is a problem faced also by others (my doctors, including the surgeon who operated me told me it does not depend on post-operative problems, and my IRM is fine) and what type of treatment is recommended in this case. I have been taking magnesium/vit B6 + carnitine + pregabalin for the last 2 months, but I did not have a consistent benefit.
Thank you for answering
