My ring finger on my right hand is considerbly colder than the rest of my fingers. My shoulder is also hurting especially when i try and move it backwards. I am very active in sports, so i don't know if i injured if playing and just didn't notice and my finger is a result of it. Why is my finger cold.

Hi,

What type of sports are you engaged in?

Is the coldness associated with numbness, a tingling sensation, any pain when you move any of your fingers?

This sounds like you have impinged a particular nerve.

For how long have you experienced this? months? weeks? days?

Your shoulder joint might require assessment with an orthopedic surgeon or a rehabilitation medicine specialist. Some radiographs and scans may be done.

Is the pain relieved with medications?

Keep us posted for any progress. Good luck.
