Fingertip Pain in Left hand with last three digits (middle, ring, pinky)

I have sporadic pain in my left hand and it has recently started in my left hand. the pain is strictly in the last three digits and feels like fire under my fingertips. Im 23 and in relatively good health but the pain is excruciating and crippling, sometimes lasting for minutes to days. I've tried stretching in case its a pinched nerve and soaking in warm water to stimulate blood flow but not much help in either. warm water helped but only to take the edge off. I don't have health insurance until the end of the week and would like to go to a doctor with a better way to explain my symptoms and possible problems if they are stumped!
