Forehead Swelling

by Flight Attendant, Jun 02, 2007 12:00AM
I am 27 years old and never had acne on my forehead. Four times in the last 9 months my forehead has swelled and these bumps that look like acne appear. Some of the bumps are filled with puss and some are just zits. And its not like 3 or 4 bumps..Its tons of them that cover my forehead and even into my hairline. My forehead gets so swollen that I get bad pains on the top of my eyes and headaches occur. My forehead is the only spot where I get this reaction. My face and neck are clear. I am very heathly and watch what i eat. I dont know what to do. Please help.

Do a search for Demodex mites, and see if it fits.
Seabuckthorn oil can kill the mites.
FaceDoctor makes a cream and a medicated soap with Seabuckthorn oil, which apparently kills Demodex mites.

From what I've read, problems with one's immune system can cause problems with skin eruptions due to the mite.

Hope this helps.
