First of all, keep in mind that I am unable to diagnose you because I am unable to examine you, this forum is for educational purposes.
The symptoms you describe with pain and
weaknessWeakness, suggest that you need a comprehensive look at your spine. When certain area are injured, they can destabilize the spine. Given the history you provided and the fact that you have fractured
transverseColles’ wrist fracture processes, suggests that you encountered a major force to the spine (which can lead to future instability). Another common problem with significant back injuries, such as yours, is the formation of a dural tear at the site of the fracture. If the dura is breeched (covering of the brain) it can lead to a low-pressure state, subdural hematomas, headaches, imbalance and numbness/tingling. I would recommend that you see a neurosurgeon to evaluate the stability of the spine, have an MRI of the affected areas of the spine, possible CT myelogram based on your symptoms. An EMG in 3 weeks from the accident will also help determine the degree of any peripheral nerve damage (for example root avulsion) that may be contributing to your symptoms. A good physical therapist will be critical for you, but first make sure your spine is stable and does not require suregery for long term stabilization (depends on the location of the injury and the extent).
I hope this has been helpful.
