Genetic counseling

by Mark__0, Sep 23, 1998 12:00AM

After reading many of the post I'm convinced genetic counseling may be of some value in dx's a condition that has befuddled neurologist and internist alike. Does the cleveland clinic perform genetic counseling? If so how can it be arranged? If not could you recommend someone who does? I live near Ithaca NY I would prefer to avoid NY City if possible.
  Thanks

Dear Mark,
Here at the Cleveland Clinic we have a department specifically devoted to genetic
testing.  We also have a department called 'Risk Assessment' that helps patients
and their families manage genetic diseases.
More information can be obtained and an appointment can be made by calling
800-223-2273.  Ask for the departments of Genetic Testing and Risk Assessment.
Good luck.
