Survival from GBM is dependent on many factors. Tumor location will have a great influence on his
symptoms. If the tumor is in the L hemisphere then you might expect speech problems and weakness
on the oppoiste side of the body. If the abnormality is in the frontal lobes you could see problems
with motivation, incontinence, behavior problems. Radiation itself can also affect things such as memory.
You can probably tell from my answer that these are questions you need to speak to your fathers neurologist about.
Many factors determine the degree of disability  - primarily tumor location. Has ne been imaged lately? has the tumor
recurred since resection and radiation? What is his level of function now?
