Glioma is now a cyst

2001 I had an MRI done with a diagnosis of low grade glioma in the thoracic portion of my spinal cord, that was confirmed and agreed upon by my radiologist, neurosurgeon and family doctor. I had been taking my prescribed meds for pain which were numerous including oxycontin and vicodin and immediately stopped my addictive medications and began medicating with marijuana. I recently had another MRI done on my thoracic spinal cord and my diagnosis is now "spinal cord cyst" My current Neurosurgeon and radiologist both firmly stand by this diagnosis. I have not had any treatment or surgery for the low grade glioma accept using marijuana medicinally in a variety of methods and have found that it has been NOT addictive for me and has helped immensely in staying off addictive narcotics as well as relaxing my muscles from painful muscle spasms.
