Groin, upper leg and knee weakness following spinal fusion surgery

by LeftyL, Nov 03, 2009 04:03PM
I had spinal fusion surgery to repair L-3, L-4, and L-5 discs in March 2009.  I was doing quite well, but about 3 months ago i could not straighten my left knee.  I can straighten the knee when laying in bed, but cannot when standing on it.  Also, my legs feel really weak in the groin and upper thigh areas.  I walk about a mile a day and have been back at work after six weeks.  Has anyone experienced the same thing?
