HEAD PRESSURE

My wife has been having severe pressure in the back of her head for about two months now, I would like to know whats causing it?Her doctor at first thought it was sinusis but she is still having it, She then went to hospital and they said it was a bulging disc could that be true?

Hi,

Yes bulging cervical disc can cause headache. I would suggest you to make her undergo some investigative procedures like CT scan and MRI, only then can the final diagnosis be made.

Hi.

Was an MRI or CT scan done which visualized a bulging disc? Are there any other symptoms that your wife experienced.

If a bulging disc is present at the cervical level, it could, in theory, present with symptoms at the back of the head. However, head pressure can be caused by several other disorders aside from a bulging disc.

It would be advisable for her to consult a neurologist to completely assess her condition.
