Im 22 yrs.I tend to show this sudden jerky movements thats not at all voulantary..it just comes lik that, sometime my hand jerks out, sometimes it happens while im speaking,my mouth goes in a way unexpected and sometimes words go gibberish and  once my eyes went sideways.I feel wierd after this happens because its not happening under my control.I also have this breathing problem at times, rapid heart beats and dizziness..im not asthmatic or anything..from the past 2 years i have been noticing this but only consulted for the breathing problem to a general doctor.doctor told im in lack of blood. didnt care at all about the other symptoms but now it disturbs me as its not disappearing..i googled 2 find out this jerky movements are called "chorea"....and its because of your damage to basal ganglia.and also found out it has some connection with this breathlessness.I want to know if this is normal for now.will this increase in future..Please help

Good you are going to see someone in a month.  If it gets to a point where this "jerking" is nonstop and/or you are having more symptoms before your appointment in a month, please get emergent care.

Keep us posted about the findings.

None of this is NORMAL for now or later.  Please consult a Neurologist.  Are you taking any medications at this time?  Any medical conditions?

Thank you for your question. Although without being able to examine you I can not offer you the specific advice on diagnosis and treatment that you need, but I would try to provide you some relevant information about your health concern.

Tremors like hand jerks could be associated with fatigue, stress, anxiety or a form of panic attack. Other possible causes of tremors could be overactive thyroid, Parkinsonism disease (basal ganglia damage), alcohol use, certain medications, alkalosis, and low blood sugar. Sometimes previous injury may cause pinched nerve and may be a reason of tremor but this possibility remains low. Therefore, it is quite essential to thoroughly assess the all possibilities here with the help of a doctor. Hope this helps.
