HIT IN THE HEAD TWICE

by Jazzy319, Nov 23, 2008 08:16AM
In May of this year I went to use the bathroom and woke up on the floor. I hit my head. I went in the bathroom around 3 a.m. and when I left the bathroom it was 5:16 a.m. I don't know how long I was laying on the floor. FYI, I passes a bowel movement while I was out and although I paid no attention to it I did bite my tongue as well. I was admitted to the hospital that Monday because my headaches had become so unbearable.Forgot to mention I went back to bed after I hit my head. This past Friday I was leaving the ladies room and someone hit me in the head along with my left eye with the door. Bruised my eye slightly and broke my glasses. My eye is still tender when I touch it and ever since my head has been killing me.Also my headaches for my previous head injury have never stopped, they go away sometimes and always come back.I've had 2 neurologist, one prescribed me Imitrex and Topamax, they did nothing for me but make me feel as though I was out of it all the time. The second has put me on Fioricet and Neurontin. But has told me to be cautious about taking them, so I've stopped since June.Taking them occasionally when my headaches become unbearable. My question is, Is there a reason sa to why my head is throbbing like this and do I need to get it checked out?
