Hand numbness and Feet pain

I have numbness in my hand or hands at night . I now use just one pillow trying not to pinch any nerves. This has been going on for about a month.
I also have throbbing pain in my feet every day after standing . I now limit my standing activities and wear breathable crocs or tennis shoes. I have had this condition for about 4 years and it is getting worse. It started with tingling in the feet and now my feet throb and feel swollen.
I have had a needle electromygraphy 3-9-06 which was negative.

Can the hands and feet issues be related ?

Could this be a vascular problem ?

Hi.

Have you ruled out Diabetes ? It is a common cause for peripheral neuropathy which can produce similar symptoms. A negative EMG does not rule out neuropathy.
