Hand weakness and muscle wasting related to depo shot?

I am a 31 y/o female and I have been on the depo shot for 3 years.  I have hand tremors and random twitching in my muscles.  Since May 06, I have not been able to extend my right thumb fully or use my middle finger independantly.  There is significant wasting in my forearm.  An EMG has shown no conduction block, but the nerve test with the needles has shown an abnormality.  As I perused side effects of medication, I saw that one of the unwanted effects of the Depo shot was paralysis, but I cannot find any sort of explanation of it.  Might the depo shot be the cause of this problem?

This crappy depo shot does nasty, hurtful things to us. I am on my 3rd injection and feel like an ol' preggo lady haha.... it *****... I get nasueous, hot flashes, not sweats, not able to sleep, no period, brown discharge, dizzy, weak legs, mild headaches.... and the list goes on lol.... get off this shot and never look back... if you have any questions email me mz_officer4053***@****

I should add that the neuro thinks it is the upper level nerves that are affected, not the ones that work the muscles.

I also get muscle cramping in my forarms.
