Has an e e g helped?

Has an e e g helped anyone? My head pressure has been 2 weeks now it stared after a dizzy spell followed by long deep sleeps. I have had blood test a ct scan & and an mri that have come back negative thank God. I still awaite my results from the e e g. Not knowing what causes the pressure can drive you a little crazy  what has helped my cope is prayer and knowing the lord Jesus is with me and giving me peace through this please try it some times the lord can use things like this to get our attention. I hope this gives someone some peace and to know that with God you are never alone.

An EEG is where they measure your brain waves, to see what the electrical activity in your brain is like.  So, it's a test to see how the nerve function is doing in the head.  They can give you various medicines if it comes back showing a problem, to help treat whatever diagnosis an abnormal EEG might indicate.

Since your other main tests have come back okay, then sometimes feeling dizzy, then sleeping a lot, and feeling pressure in the head can suggest you may have anemia of some kind or a vitamin/mineral deficiency, in which case they can do more bloodwork and see what your blood cell count looks like and check out your vit/min numbers, too.  But the first thing I thought of when I read your post was meningitis, but it would have showed up on the scans they did, as well as the bloodwork.  They can also do a spinal tap, to see if your spinal fluid is under a lot of pressure, which can indicate a couple other medical problems with you.

I hope you get better soon, make sure the docs keep checking you over until they reach a diagnosis and treatment plan, and I'm sure they will eventually figure you out and give you relief, and your spirituality will help you make it through, too.

Thank you very much for the info I will look into it more. The eeg came back with no problems aand the pressure has left me. I am still confussed and wonder if it will come back again.
