Has anyone ever heard of

Burning man syndrome? its when you have a burning sensation under your skin. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am not aware of this terminology. It is not noted as a scientific term.

The burning could be due to several causes, like neuropathy.

You need to rule out the causes for the burning by consulting a neurologist and getting certain tests done .

Hi there, thanks for your post. The reason im asking is not for me but my mum. She suffers terrible from this burning sensation under her skin, its down her ears, up her nose, down her arms..etc etc its awful. The problem is is that she has electrical & light sensitivity so she can't have any tests done that involve electrics. She has seen a neurologist who was quite rude and didn't seem particularly interested in helping her. Please see my post " Can anyone help please" that will give you some more info it my mum and her symptoms, although i have to say there not straight forward by any means.
