Has anyone had relief or treatment from pineal cyst

I am a 40 yr. old female that has been experiencing vision and hearing problems for approximately a year now. The vision problems have been more frequent (up to three times a day) and the ringing in my ears is constant. Approximately two weeks ago, I was sitting and everything began to violently spin. This lasted for about 5 minutes followed by a severe headache that has not subsided since. My doctor ordered an MRI and the results showed a 1 cm cyst on my tectum plate. Note: results were read by radiologist only. My doctor has prescribed some very strong narcotics with no relief. I am not sleeping or eating (because everything tastes bitter).  I have an appt. with a neuro, but after reading these boards worry that it may fall on deaf ears.  My balance is off tremendously and is causing problems with my job (gymnastics coach).  Has anyone had any relief from their symptoms?
