Has anyone had symptoms 7 mos post-op CM1??

I had CM1 decomp surgery + fusion of C!,C2 in Jan 2009. Recovery in the beginning was fairly pain free due to the drugs I was on. I stayed in hospital for 1 month. I am a type 1 diabetic & have cystic fibrosis so I case sensitive as it was. I was in coma for 10 days so, I had 2 diff surgeries 2 days apart.Anyways....I am rammbling....
My Symptoms I am curious if anyone experienced(s) are : reoccurring excruciating ,ongoing ,headaches ,major neck pain & back pain.after feeling so well ,improving evreyday---now I am in pain??? I was doing so well and now I have sleep all day and walk around like a zombie...frustrated,depressing.
Am I alone ? Looking forward to hearing from anyone. THX
