I have suffered through the years with Fibromyalgia/CFS, Hypothyroidism,Headaches, and now Burning NerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity Pain. The nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity pain and headaches have continue to worsen.T he med.s I take are Lyrica,CymbaltaCymbalta, UltramUltram Ultram er, and a Zanaflex, Topamax, Synthyroid. I live in a Hemispere of PAIN!! I did find a wonderful Neurologist, who helped diagnose Cervicogenic Headaches and a Debilitating Nerve Pain kown as (Occipital Neuralgia) that radiates from the base of my skull on th R. side to my forehead, behind my R.eye. Sometimes, my face, teeth and lip go numb(trigeminal-nyuralgia). I'm promoting Ocypital Neuralgia Awareness and a Non-Invasive Surgery that Decompresses the Occipital Nerve. There needs to be more clinical trials and research/funding. I've even sent Oprah a segment Blog and our Local News Station for there has been such great relief with this surgery. I want my life back for me and my family!! How did Carpal Tunnel receive all it's funding for clinical research? and is there any financial assistance for those in need?? Unfortunately, there are not any Clinical Trials going on right now. The surgery is $$$$$ but could restore so many lives. Sincerely DW
I am also considering decompression surgery due to chronic supraorbital neuralgia. Have you found a doctor to do the surgery? Is your neuralgia getting better and have you found any treatments that have helped.
