Have Questions..desperate for answers

i was diagnosed yesterday with hydromyelia..was told very little,and was just released back to full duty at my job where i do alot of lifting..my left leg from the calf down to my toes has been numb for over a month now and i have weakness in it, i am seeking a second opinion and have that on the 30th,just  need to know if doing all the lifting can make this worse

  I had Drs release me saying my issues were above them...not all will admit that...u may want to send all ur MRI's to a Chiari specialist and see what they tell u.
What symptoms presented that u had the testing that this was found?

B4 ur numbness did u experience nething else?

Well the neuro I was seeing didnt say anything just released me back to full duty :( so idk what to do

Hi I saw u posted in the Chiari forum...this is related to Syringomyelia and that is related to Chiari so, a Chiari specialist is a Dr u should look into for more info on how this is affecting ur overall health.

U may want to stop lifting things that r heavy, as it could affect u, listen to ur body, if u have pain from an activity it may have been too much so cut back till  u do not have an adverse effect from the activity.
