Head Feelings

by kml462284, Jun 05, 2007 12:00AM
Hi, I am a 29 year old male who has suffered from moderate to severe anxiety due to being a hypocondriac.  I have always suffered from the thought of having a heart attack, brain tumor, brain cancer...  I am currently on Effexor XR 75mg and Clanezapam .5 mg 3x a day.  Anxiety runs in my family and I have always had wierd feelings come and go in my head, but lately that is all that i focus on none of them hurt and none of them last longer than a couple of seconds.  I also have had a cold sensation on the right side above my ear and on the top back left side of my head, again does hurt just annoying and lasts only a couple of seconds.  I forgot to mention that I have also been diagnosed with obcessive compulsive disorder with relation to me worrying about my health.  I know that many of these things are manifested in my mind and do not have an affect on my vision, balance, or my daily life other than my constant worrying thoughts.  Do you think there is more to this than my anxiety and can anxiety bring on symptoms and continued feelings that I have, or do not have?  I have seen 6 or 7 doctors regarding my issues and all have said that I am healthy (I currenlty run approx 2 miles per day and do not eat a lot of meat, mostly veggies and tofu).  Do you think this could be caused by wiplash from a car accident as a teenager or is this simply "ANXIETY.  Thank you
