Head Injury 10 years ago

I had a head injury 10 years ago that I required 5 staples to my head. (They had wanted to use stitches, but they would have had to cut my hair.)
Over the last 10 years i have had a bump as a result of the injury. (Is that normal)?
Furthermore, during the 10 years i had not understood the idea of a bump being a result of this injury, I assumed my head would go back to normal. It didnt. So, 4 times in 10 years I attempted to get rid of the bump by grazing the top of the bump with a very very skinny small sewing needle. It worked three times. A lighter colred blood blood came out and the bump decreased for a day or so, but came back. Until about 7 days ago when i did it again.
I have mad an appointment with general doctor to see if i can at least get a referal to do an MRI or CT since the emergency room in Omaha, Nebraska didnt bother to do this when i had the injury. Or at least get an antibiotic.
Anyhow, about 2 days after I did this, I had very very bad pain in my scalp, or perhaps on my galea aponneurotica. I even went as far as loosing my ability to stand up for about 10 mins. I felt like I was goign to die. Maybe i am a hypercontriact, but I dont think so. When I went for a sloww walk 2 days in a row, I felt my left or right side tingle. I felt no pain, but it felt flimbsy, or weak.
Could I have developed a tumor or periostitis as a result of this head injury 10 years ago? Could I have calavrial hemogioma? Im really scared and i have been taking about 4  200mg ibprofens everyday for 7 days.
Please someone help me.

Hi, Thank you for your question. Your symptoms could be suggestive of either some cellulites formation or a pressure on the nerve after the staple surgery. Another possibility in your case could be damaged the soft-tissues such as muscles or underlying skin. However, it is essential to clarify that nerve injury does not necessarily mean complete injury to the nerve and it may be either edema or some type of compression of nerve by a blood clot or scar formation. I would recommend you to see a neurologist who can evaluate the details of your case and could better determine the insight of your situation. Hope this helps.
