Head Pain

by hahnjt, Jul 23, 2008 10:26PM
I have a soreness in the top of my head that has been there for months.  I have also noticed a small indention in my head where the soreness is.  I have had NO head trauma.  I sometimes feel pressure in the same spot as the soreness.  I went to my doctor but he just gave me motrin and did NO tests.  I am in the military so I can't see anyone else.  Could it be something major?

Hi,

Did the motrin help?
Please relax. It does not look serious.
There is a possibility that this is a tension headache. Another possibility can be scalp dermatitis. If possible you can take a second opinion on this. Meanwhile you can apply cold compresses and see if it helps. Do keep us posted!
