Head aches and dizziness

Head aches and dizziness

I have had headaches for over a year. They are progressivly getting worse. My doctor diagnosed me with migranes (migraines) and prescribed 40mg relpax. It sometimes helps. Now I am getting dizzy along with my headaches. I went to a chiropracter and says my spine is crooked and I have a herniated disk in my neck that could be causing the pain. I sometimes get releif from his adjustments. Al I know is that I have a headache everyday and feel dizzy along with it, sometimes for days. I just had a MRA done and the results were good, no problems. Should I get an CAT scan or an MRI. I just do not know what to do and I need help.

Hi, yes you should get MRI done both of brain and cervical spine to rule out brain lesions and nerve compression.

How about your blood pressure and do you get whistling sounds in either of your ears? Dizziness along with headache could be due to raised intracranial tension, migraine, space occupying lesion in brain, hypertension etc.
