40 y.o. male, w/ frequent occurences of "squishy" feeling (I actually think I can hear fluid) in my neck and base of my skull often accompanied by very dizzy or faint feeling. Usually, within an hour or so after this starts, I develop a very localized headache at the base of my skull and going up toward my soft spot - never spreads to the side or front of my head. I have a fairly high pain tolerence and have always refrained from taking aspirin or other OTC pain meds for headaches but when this symptom occurs (if feels like I was hit with a 2# hammer at the base of my skull), I have to take 3-4 tylenol or advil. The pain will ususally subside but sometimes comes back within an hour or two. I've never experienced anything like this until 18 months ago (first occurence) and the next occurence was several months later. Over the last year, occurences have become much more frequent and over the last month, I've had these same symptoms about 4-5 times each week. Usually only once per day. I have also noticed that I sometimes have very little feeling in my right hand (no tingling or pain though). But this condition does not always occur with the 3 other symptoms (1. squishy; 2. dizziness; 3. headache). Any ideas?
