Headache, double vision, paraylized RT eye,

Headache, double vision, paraylized RT eye,

Husband 42 year old diabetic, Has had a headache since Aug. 22 went to ER on Sept. 2 due to headache had a CT with normal results. A few days later double vision started; went to eye doctor 20/25 in RT and 20/20 in LT no sign of bleeds, no swelling of optic nerve. Had an MRI of brain on Sept. 5 which showed nothing. Sept. 6 had a lumbar puncture all test came back within normal limits. Headaches and double vision continue. on Sept 11 eye is totally paraylized will not move left, right, up, or down. Area around RT eye is tender to touch, some numbness on RT side of head. Dr. diagnosed with sixth cranial nerve palsy in beginning, told husband to wear a patch to help with double vision, put him on gabapentin 300mg 3 times a day. Went back to eye doctor on the 11th of Sept, who then seen drastic changes in vision in the right eye, then went to nero that same day, had another MRI that did show something swelling and a bunch of little bumps I think the doc said it looked like inflammation or cyco tumor, he sent us to a neropthamaligist who ran some bloodwork and scheduled another MRI of the orbit, he said the MRI that was ran the night before was not clear or detailed enough. Well anyway the doctor did put him on Prednisone and the eye is showing some signs of improvement and the headaches aren't quite as bad. My question is; if an mri is done of the brain with three being normal wouldn't the mri show the orbits? I am just a babbling idiot I'm very scared I think they are wanting to rule out a lymphoma and some other stuff.... As of current the eye is trying to move and the vision isn't as bad as it was on the 11th but when he tries to work the eye it does make it sore. any info at all would be greatly appreciated...
