Headache a year after chiaria surgery

My s on had a botched Chiaria sugery 3/06 with a repair and vp shunt4/06. Followed by a mesh net implant in back of head, aprox 4x3 inches. VP shunt removed 3/07. Still having occipital headaches daily.
Had occipital nerve block with no relief. Any ideas?
