Headache!! pls help!

Hi. I've had a headache for two days now. My 7 yr. old daughter just got over the flu this week and when she became sick is when my headaches started. I thought it could be some symptoms of the flu but I don't know. I have a history of headaches and had a CT scan done about 2 years ago. The results were normal. I have diarrhea and my back hurts.I have also had some dizzy spells and ringing in both ears. I saw a flashing white light in my left eye around the beginnig of this month. I was never diagnosed with having migraines. I have been taking Ibuprofen 800mg every 8 hrs for the past 2 days. What could be the problem? Please help.

Thank you all for your comments. I went to my drs. office the next day and I was told that the headaches that I was having was related to the Flu. My dr. said that I had ongoing symptoms of the Flu.I'm happy to say that the pain is gone..(for now). This whole thing really freaks me out alot, but I'm extremely grateful for finding this forum. It really sheds light on many subjects. First forum I've joined and it's awsome...Peace & God bless!

Hi I suffer from complicated migraines with aura.Mine mimic stroke when they are at their worst. I know that taking too much pain reliever can actually make the headaches worse. They are called rebound headaches..So be careful.......

Hope you get some answers......

Hi,
The symptoms could be due to Migraines as well as Flu.  A complete examination and investigations are necessary for a diagnosis. Since the symptoms are common to both the ailments, it is very difficult to comment through internet as to what it is. Please consult a physician and get routine investigations like CBP with ESR, stool examination, and other tests. If Flu is ruled out, please consult a neurologist for the confirmation of diagnosis of Migraines and management of the symptoms. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
