Headache

by jeff3443, Mar 11, 2008 09:38AM
Hello, I am a 32 year old male.  I do not usually get headaches, however I have had one now constantly for over two weeks. The focal point of the pain is right above my right eye. There is no consistancy as to whether it well hurt more in the mornings or the evenings, or rather if I'm working or relaxing. The severity of the pain seems to be completely random. What I find really strange is that when I apply pressure to the region of my head that hurts it actually starts to hurt worse. The best way to describe it would be like having sustained a bump to the head. Then if you touch the bump it starts to hurt worse. I know this sounds very simplistic but I can't think of a better way to describe it. I am just curious to know if this a common occurrence or if this could be something worse. I am not someone that worries about trivial matters, but like I said this has been going on for two weeks and I am starting to get concerned. Please help.

Hello.

The headaches that you have could be a result of a focal injury. Do you recall having hurt your forehead and injured the supraorbital nerve? Neuropathic pain can increase on touch and pressure.
