Headaches, Ear ache

Hi,

My Girlfriend who is 23 years old has been experiencing headaches for the past few months. They are typically worse in the mornings but last the entire day. She has a headache 24 hours a day only difference is severity of the headache.

Initially we all assumed it was stress but now it has been going on for far too long to be attributed to stress. Recently she has developed earache on top of all of this. Her ears were checked a week ago and she was told they are fine. She says both ears feel like they are blocked and are hurting as well. I have her scheduled to see a neurologist tomorrow who will give us some advice and HOPEFULLY perform a CAT scan. I am really worried about her and I have no idea what could be wrong.

Her headaches are worse in the mornings and she says they are located usually in the temple area and behind her eyes. She is not sensitive to light or sounds and has no cognitive issues that are notable. Basically she seems normal just with pain. She says sometimes her one eye twitches and her vision blurs momentarily. I don't know what to do.

Just an update.

The neurologist diagnosed her with benign inter-cranial hyprtension.

Basically she has to much spinal fluid in her head, they drained it and her headaches immediately got better and she felt a lot better generally. She is now on medication for it too. Thanks to you all.
