Headaches and Migraines

by brandi2003, Jun 21, 2007 12:00AM
Hi, I have suffered from anxiety for about 4 years now. I have the anxiety under control. However, chronic headaches run in my family, and I thought i was used to them by now. But for the last few days I have had this awful sharp pain near my temple usually triggered by yawning. It is actually very strange. It starts hurting so much. When I swallow or yawn it feels like this hammer is hitting me in the temple. My cousin was recently diagnosed with an anurism (sp?) and I worry about that being my problem. It may be the anxiety in me freakin out about that, but I was hoping you could maybe explain where the pain is actually coming from.
