Headaches and tingling in face

Hi, since July, I have been having these sharp headaches. They feel as if something in my head is being pulled, but they last only a few seconds. I also get these tingling sensations on my face and neck. My doctor told me my neck muscles were too contracted and prescribed a muscle relaxant, but this has not helped at all. Please, any advice??

Hi there i know you posted this some time ago now but i was wondering what the outcome was of your symptoms as i keep getting around my left eye and onto my cheek bone tingling and its worrying me???
