Headaches,pressure,ringing in ears

I am a woman,48 yrs. old, who has been experiencing something similar to a panic attack or anxiety for the past 9 months. I have been very healthy and never had a headache before.  I now have pressure in my head and I have headaches on the right side and tingling sensations on the right along with ringing in my ears constantly.  I also have alot of pressure and crunching noises in my neck.  When I experience the anxiety attack, it feels as though the outside noise gets so loud that it triggers an attack.  My hearing is very sensitive and noises get louder and then my heart rate goes up, I get shaky and weak and then the pressure in my head increases, also my voice gets very hoarse.  At the time of the attack my neck also feels tight and some pressure.  I have had a head CT scan and all looks fine but it was recommended for me to see an ENT specialist.  I am having an MRI of the brain in two days and following up with an ENT, Head and Neck specialist.  I believe these attacks are triggered by a physical trigger and not my thoughts.  I have also been diagnosed with Adrenal gland fatigue.  I have never had any real physical problems but now I am going to every doctor I can think of to get this figured out.  I am tired of not feeling well and having this pressure, headaches, ringing in the ears and tingling sensations.  Is it possible to have a viral infection that may be causing this?  Can anyone help?

I am the same age as you and am experiencing exactly the same symptoms as you which came of suddenly in October 2007. I thought I was reading my own story when I read yours! I am peri-menipausal and would like to know if that is why I am experiencing these symptoms. I also wondered if I had Adrenal Fatigue but because I can't get a positvie diagnosis off my GP I am frustrated not knowing what is wrong. I could deal with the symptoms if there was a clear cause. I have had a MRI and Carotid Artery Scan and am going to see a Neurologist in August. Why can't Doctors diagnose their patients?!

Hello dear,
Your symptoms seem to be due to anxiety and apprehension.Try not to take stress and relax.Meditation and yoga will help you relax your mind. Also as you are in your menopausal period some apprehensions may be there.
Just keep your mind cool and you will feel better.
