Headaches

I have been having a headache of sorts only on the right side of my head for about a month now. It started off as only scalp tenderness and a pulling sensation on the top right side of my head.  Now it seems to have moved to the right temple.  Occasionally, it will feel like an itch next to my ear.  The symptoms are not constant but hit frequently throughout the day.  I went to the doctor and they ordered a CT Scan and had blood work done about a week ago.  All tests came back normal.  The doctor said that I am fine and all the tests proved it.  I am not imagining these pains.  I am uninsured so I can't simply go to an emergency room and demand to see a team of specialists.  What could possibly be wrong with me?  Any advice is appreciated!  Thanks!

The doctor ruled out arteritis because of blood results.  This doctor was a general practice doctor and not a specialist.  Could he have been mistaken?  Thanks for the response!

Hi,
One cause for your problem  may be  cranial arteritis which is the inflammation of blood vessels in the scalp and inside the brain itself, it may cause scalp tenderness and pain . Please consult a neurologist for the examination and diagnosis depending on your symptoms and history . Hope this helps you . Take care and regards !
