Help! My legs are numb and tingley

I have a low thyroid and vitamin D deficiency and have been pretty sick feeling for 2 1/2 months.  I have been on the same thyroid medicine for almost 4 weeks and have been on a vitamin D supplement (50,000iu/week) for three weeks.  My question is my left leg has felt like it was asleep for a good month now.  Sometimes tingley and muscle twitches.  Now my right leg has started this.  I was in bed probably for a good month but have been up and around for 3 weeks.  I had a MRI which showed a possible hemangioma on L1 and degenerative qualities from C3-C7 and narrowing of the thecal space in the cervical area and a reversal of cervical lordosis.  Could my leg issues be from any of these things?  I saw a neurologist recently who told me I need to come back when my thryoid is under control.  My endocrinologist tells me the leg issue has nothing to do with my thyroid.  What is going on?
