Help Diagnose my husband

My husband is 37 years old. In May 2010 he experienced difficulty speaking, fatigue, blurred vision and severe headaches. At the time the doctors told us he had a stroke...after MRI, MRA, CAT Scan, EEG, EKG and a heart haulter monitor it showed that he had no signs of a stroke. He still experiences all of these problems and prevents him from working. He took speech therapy for 3 months with no change. He sees a neurologist monthly and nobody has any answers. He did have a videostroboscopy last week and the speech pathologist said that he is having spasms and suggested we get a second opinion as to what is causing this. They suggested going to the Cleveland Clinic or the Mayo clinic which we can't afford to make it there at this time. He also has a history of chronic back pain and had back surgery in 2004 and has a list of medications also if needed. Nobody in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area has a clue as to what is causing his problems, just that it is neurological. Please help us find which direction to go.

Ask him to to do this pranayam, twice daily, to help the nervous system recover. You do it as well, so you can compare the benefits noticed.Tell me what you notice after 21 days of anulom vilom pranayam.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom pranayam  –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Hi there. These symptoms could be an association of migraine headaches. What he had early this year could also be the same migraines. Discuss this feasibility with your neurologist. It wasn’t a stroke, speech difficulties are seen with due to migraine again. There are medicines which can control an acute episode and others which can prevent this. Take care
