I was diagnosed Hypo-Pituitary & Hypo-Thyroid at a very young age. My Endocrinologist here seems to question my "hypo-pituitary" because it doesn't seem all hormones are affected (ACTHActh Dexamethasone suppression test is normalNormal saline flush, though TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh is low, and some others). They want an MRI done, but I have 2 questions regarding getting that done.
1) Isn't it a bit redundant since I've already been diagnosed hypo-pituitary? and I've read that hypo-pituitary can affect one or all hormones--nothing of it saying it would automatically affect all hormones.
2) Due to allergies to other meds, they normally wouldn't give me the dye for the MRI, but if they don't would the MRI clarify anything regarding the hypo-pituitarism? or just waste of time?
Help-I also have low cortisolCortisol level so really have some serious health concerns that I'd like to get some answers to. Thanks.
