Help interpreting MRI report, complicated history

My neuro. ordered an MRI for migraine after I reported developing an aura that heralds a migraine with the smell of burning food or rubber. The findings report states, "Small punctate areas of increased T2 signal within the centrum semiovale of both hemispheres, as well as within the right mid brain follow fluid signal characteristics and are consistent with perivascular spaces...with incidental note made of a mildly tortuous vertebrobasilar system. No mass or acute abnormality identified"

In addition, I was suspected (by three different oncologists) of having Hodgkins disease or NHL about a year ago with all of the symptoms (weight loss, night sweats, hyperplastic lymph nodes, fatigue, petechiae, etc.) but a negative PET (skull base to knee) except for a slightly high uptake in the Waldeyer's ring, which was interpreted as being on the high end of normal and the low end of abnormal. Since there was no abnormality grossly visible in the tonsil area, the cancer investigation is in a wait and see mode right now, with my doctor's assurance that IF it is indeed cancer, it's very early, though my symptoms seem to point right to it.

So my question is would anything in the quoted report suggest that we might want to revisit the cancer possibility--could it be interpreted as the early stages of a slow-growing head cancer...and what does "a mildly tortuous vertebrobasilar system" mean in terms of my migraines, if anything?
