Hemiplegic Migraine

My 16 year old daughter woke up at 3AM whimpering for help but could not speak or move her arms or face. Before this she had described tingling sensation taking her over. It seems seizure-like without the shaking and lasted for about 15 minutes. Called 911 and she was taken to emergency. They feared stroke. The catscan came out normal. She vomitted for hours and was exhausted but regained complete mental and physical function.
The Doctors do not know what to think and she was released from the hospital after about 12 hours. My daughter has sufferred from migrains in the recent past. Just the week previous we had to go to urgent care for a shot to get rid of a massive headache.
Does her recent siezure-like episode sound like Hemiplegic Migrain? How can we know for sure?

my name is savanna and i am 18 yrs old. i was reading about your 16 yr old daughter and i was wondering if you have found out if it was hemiplegic migraines? i was just diagnosed about a week ago with these:/ does she get tingly all over her body or just the left or right side?
