Herniated Disk L2/L3
About 15 days ago I awoke with severe burning pain running through my groin into my right thigh ending at my knee. Pain was and is a 15 on a scale of 1 - 10 - burning and shooting in my left thigh and pain in my testicle area. I had an MRI which showed a Herniated L2/L3 and was scheduled for Selective Nerve Root Block within 5 days of seeing my doctor. Unfortunately, I was on a full Aspirin and had to wait a full week before the procedure could be done. Last Tuesday it was done at an Orthopedic Hospital in Boston and after the most intense pain I thought I'd get some relief.

My pain is at a 10 now and even 10mg percocets do nothing. Will this work ? Is there anything I can do other than ice to lower the pain?

My ortho is setting me up for PT.
