Herniated disc and hand/arm tremors

by Fisgard58, May 22, 2009 09:42AM
I have recently been diagnosed with "possible" Parkinson's and Familial  (Mother's side of the family).Tremors

However I have a had problems with one of my neck discs (off work for 3 months with pain in left arm and muscle atrophy 4 years ago). My neck still isn't "right" and I get the occasional "twinge" if I turn my head.

Now, I find that if I physically press on the disc my "resting tremor" (my main PD symptom) goes away (until I release the pressure).

So my question is:  "Could my 'Parkinson's' actually be a disc problem?"

I am not on any meds. but am considering acupuncture which seemed to work 4 years ago.

Thanks.
