High fever and seizures

My daughter, who is 6, has mono.  When she was 5 she ran a fever of 105+ for 7 straight days.  The doctors wouldn't admit her to the hospital because they said the cause of the fever was mono.  Since the fever she hasn't been the same.  She stares off alot as if her brain is frozen for a few seconds at a time.  This happens often.  It isn't affecting her school work yet but I am afraid that it will soon.  My question is can that fever have caused her to have some sort of mini seizures like brains zaps?
